This was volunteer James Gomez in 2020 explaining to WV Agriculture Commissioner Kent Leonhardt how the Land on the Green challenge works. “If your tee shot lands on the green, you win a hat or shirt of your choice.” Leonhardt will be participating again in 2021.

West Virginia Governor Jim Justice Has Signed “Second Chances at Life Act”

    West Virginians for Life (WVFL) is pleased that Gov. Jim Justice signed the Second Chances at Life Act of 2021 on Wednesday, April 28. The bill will require that a woman be informed that the effects of the chemical abortion pill can be reversed to save her baby if she changes her mind after taking the first pill, but not the second.

    There was no formal ceremony due to Covid.

    Melissa Ortiz is a disability rights activist whose personal story is well worth hearing on Thursday, November 11, 2021, at the Holiday Inn, Morgantown.

    Having served in a position under President Trump, Ortiz has several more accomplishments in addition.
